ZEUS VII Wall-Mount Fixture Selector

Wall Pack Lights – ZEUS VII Wall-Mount Fixture Selector

ZEUS VII Wall-Mount Fixture Selector

The ZEUS VII WPT07 family puts three adjustable wattage bands — 25/30/35W, 30/45/60W and 60/80/100W — inside one IP65 and IK10 housing, so a single fixture style can serve perimeter runs, entries, lot edges and loading docks. This guide compares the published variants of HiET's wall pack lights and explains how to specify an led wall pack against the mounting surface, beam spread and control requirements of the job before you send a layout for quotation.

Start From the Job, Not the Part Number

Four typical exterior zones, the wattage band they usually land in, the fixture fact that decides the selection, and the question to settle before you order.

25/30/35W band

Perimeter & Security

Dusk-to-dawn coverage along walls, service yards and fence lines where the fixture has to survive contact as well as weather.

Fixture fact: IP65 and IK10 ratings plus a built-in photocell as the standard configuration.

Buyer decision: the 205×152×169 mm body at 4.2 kg is the lightest published option — settle the mounting substrate and the photocell setpoint before ordering the run.

30/45/60W band

Facade & Entry

Accent and wayfinding light on entrances and facade bays, where the beam shape matters more than the headline lumen figure.

Fixture fact: rotatable optical design with 0°, 12°, 24° and 36° positions.

Buyer decision: fix the aim and the coverage pattern first; the wattage band follows from the light you actually need on the wall, not the other way around.

60/80/100W band

Parking & Lot Edge

Pools of light at building corners and wall faces that serve stalls, drive aisles and pedestrian routes.

Fixture fact: 15,000 lm at 3000K, 16,000 lm at 4000K and 15,500 lm at 5000K, with >6KV surge protection.

Buyer decision: request the layout at 4000K first — 16,000 lm is the highest published figure and the easiest one to over-specify.

60/80/100W band

Warehouse & Loading Dock

High-mounted perimeter and door lighting on logistics buildings where maintenance access is planned, not improvised.

Fixture fact: modular design for installation and maintenance in a 275×152×169 mm housing.

Buyer decision: ask for the weight of the 60/80/100W variant with your quotation — the product page publishes it for the other two models only.

Variant Comparison: Three Bands, One Family

Published figures side by side so you can see where the bands diverge — output, body length and weight. Efficacy and surge protection are the same across all three models.

Model codes are reproduced as published. Body length grows from 205 mm to 275 mm between the 25/30/35W model and the two larger bands, while the mid and high bands share the same 275×152×169 mm housing.

Configuration Matrix: Wattage × CCT × Finish

Adjustable wattage and switchable colour temperature collapse a long specification list into three orderable models. The grid below shows the published flux at each colour temperature.

Wattage band 3000K 4000K 5000K

60/80/100W150 / 160 / 155 lm/W 15,000 lm 16,000 lm 15,500 lm

Fixture flux is published for each band at its highest wattage setting. Colour temperature is selectable on the fixture across all three settings.

Housing finishes and cover options

Four housing colours are offered — Black, White, Bronze and Gray — together with multiple optional cover shapes for different appearance requirements. Confirm the cover shape and housing colour on the quotation, since the finish axis is specified separately from the wattage and CCT axes.

  • Fewer part numbers to scheduleAdjustable wattage means a 25/30/35W body can be set to the output the layout calls for rather than forcing three separate line items.
  • One CCT decision, three settingsSwitchable 3000K, 4000K and 5000K keeps a warm facade scheme and a neutral lot scheme on the same order line.
  • Finish without a second fixture familyBlack, White, Bronze and Gray housings let the same body follow a building palette instead of mixing styles on one elevation.

Built for Wall-Only Mounting

The WPT07 is a wall-mount fixture, not a universal body with a bracket list. That single mounting type is why the housing stays compact across the family and why service access is planned around the wall face rather than a pole or a ceiling grid.

A modular design keeps installation and maintenance straightforward, and colour rendering is published at CRI >80, which matters on facades and entries where the fixture is lighting people as much as pavement.

  • Mounting type: wall mount only, published as such on the product record.
  • Colour rendering: CRI >80 across the family.
  • Construction: modular design for installation and maintenance access.
  • Appearance options: multiple optional cover shapes alongside four housing colours.

Controls and Commissioning

The family ships with a built-in photocell as standard, so dusk-to-dawn operation does not need a separate sensor on the wall. 0-10V dimming is available for sites that want output control, and the published compatibility line runs to energy management protocols and building automation through that 0-10V interface.

Surge protection is rated above 6KV, which is the parameter that decides whether an exposed run down a building edge needs extra protection hardware.

  • Sensor: built-in photocell, standard configuration.
  • Dimming: 0-10V dimming function available.
  • Input: 120–277V or 120–347V, depending on the model variant ordered.
  • Surge: >6KV protection across all three wattage bands.

Compliance, Ratings and Service Life

Specifiers usually need the listing list and the environmental envelope before a fixture goes onto a schedule. For the WPT07 those are published in full: DLC Premium, ETL and FC, supported by LM79 and LM80 test documentation, with an operating range of −40°C to 50°C and a 5-year official factory warranty.

The published service life is L70B50 at 50,000 hours when measured at 25°C — useful when you are comparing maintenance cycles on a high-mount run rather than a ground-level entrance.

  • Certifications: DLC Premium, LM79, LM80, ETL, FC.
  • Ingress and impact: IP65 dustproof and waterproof, IK10 heavy impact resistance.
  • Service life: L70B50 = 50,000 hours at 25°C.
  • Warranty: 5 years, official factory warranty.

Aiming the Optic and Planning Maintenance

The optical system rotates to 0°, 12°, 24° and 36°, so a single model can be set for a tight wash on an entry wall or a broader spread at the corner of a lot. Aim is a commissioning decision, and it should be recorded per fixture position rather than set by eye on the day.

Body length and weight decide how the fixture behaves on the wall and how service access is planned: 205 mm and 4.2 kg on the 25/30/35W model, 275 mm and 4.2 kg on the 30/45/60W model. The 60/80/100W model shares the 275 mm body, and its weight is not published on the product page — request it before specifying a high-mount schedule.

  • Optic positions: 0°, 12°, 24° and 36°, rotatable.
  • Low band: 205×152×169 mm, 4.2 kg / 9.26 lb.
  • Mid band: 275×152×169 mm, 4.2 kg / 9.26 lb.
  • High band: 275×152×169 mm, weight to be confirmed with sales.
